This dry white Burgundy wine is an artisanal expression of chardonnay produced by Jonathan Purcell under his Vin Noé label. The fruit is hand-harvested early in the season from a sustainably managed site in the northernmost part of the region to lock in acidity. The winemaking incorporates a dual approach, where a majority is direct-pressed into five-hundred liter wooden barrels and a small portion undergoes full carbonic maceration. The lots ferment spontaneously with native wild yeasts and age for several months on their lees.

It displays a bright straw-yellow color, releasing intense and perfumed aromatics of spiced peach, citrus rind, and fresh yellow blossoms. A sleek, medium-bodied frame pairs fresh orchard fruit flavors with an underlying savory core of roasted hazelnuts. A lively wave of natural citric energy slices through the waxy texture, maintaining excellent structural tension. The carbonic component lends a texture that frames mid-palate cleanly.
