This low-intervention red wine is a non-traditional multi-vintage blend combining pinot noir from the 2018 harvest with barbera from the 2019 season. Winemaker Jean-Yves Péron sources the fruit from organic plots in Piedmont, vinifying the components using maceration techniques. The pinot noir undergoes a fifteen-day carbonic maceration, while the barbera experiences a prolonged skin soak in neutral containers. Both lots are aged separately for three to four years before blending and bottling without filtration or added sulfur.

It pours a clear ruby color with garnet highlights, releasing clean aromatics of wild berries, field herbs, and warm leather. A light-to-medium frame balances fruit freshness with a savory baseline of rustic spice. Snappy red currant flavors interweave with a crisp wave of natural acidity from the barbera component. Soft, integrated tannins provide a delicate structural grip that frames the smooth mouthfeel. It finishes dry and persistent, leaving a clean, refreshing mineral trace.
