Benedicte & Stephane Tissot Cremant du Jura Rose Dosage Zero NV
TissotGrape: Pinot Noir
Vintage: NV
Type: Sparkling
The Benedicte & Stephane Tissot Crémant du Jura Rosé Dosage Zero NV presents a delicate yet vibrant profile. Its pale salmon hue introduces a nose of fresh strawberries and subtle cream, underscored by a distinct mineral edge reminiscent of crushed rock. The palate is dry and precise, reflecting the "dosage zero" style, with crisp acidity that enlivens the red fruit flavors. The blend of Pinot Noir, Poulsard, and Trousseau contributes to a complex and layered experience, culminating in a clean, lingering finish. This Crémant showcases the Tissot's commitment to biodynamic viticulture, resulting in a sparkling rosé that is both elegant and reflective of the Jura terroir.
Stéphane Tissot and his wife Bénédicte have 35 hectares of vineyards “cultivated in bio-dynamic viticulture (certified by Demeter) to allow the soils to live, to have grapes untouched by chemical products, to allow natural yeast fermentations, to reduce the doses of sulfur in the cellar.”
They produce truly unique, terroir-driven natural wines, wines we love, admire, and cherish. These are without doubt some of our most prized wines.
André and Mireille Tissot founded their estate in 1962, in the village of Montigny-les-Arsures, in the Jura. Stéphane took over from his father with a new vision and converted it to chemical-free farming, organic and then biodynamic. They are meticulous in their farming and in the cellar, producing up to 28 unique cuvees.
A wine made with love and passion produces an emotion... You can find in a wine the personality and the character of those who made it because each gesture, each operation, each decision has its importance.
